Jesse wrote “How Much I Do” in 2006 prior to the release of THIN LINE. About a month before its release, one of his closest friends and fellow musician, Dustin Smith passed away suddenly. This song was a heartfelt ‘poetic’ retelling of their friendship from beginning to end. Recorded in one take with no punches, this song captured the pain of losing a loved one, especially one so young.
